The exclusive focus of Ron Supancic’s family law practice is helping families throughout Los Angeles and
Ventura counties. Ron, a Certified Family Law Specialist since the inception of that program in 1980, continues to study and use all forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution, including mediation, arbitration and collaborative law. For thirty-five years, Ron has addressed all areas of family law, from pre-marital planning to estate planning, including paternity, support, custody modification and enforcement, and adoption. His constructive approach emphasizes the financial and psychological wholeness of the family as it restructures itself during and after divorce, with particular concern for the child. Ron is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, as well as a founder and past president of the Coalition for Collaborative Divorce, and has taught family law, and Ethics, at four universities and abroad. The highlight of 2006 was his attendance at the Harvard Negotiation Insight Initiative program, designed to further develop theories and practices for negotiation, dispute resolution, and peacemaking.
